ABOUT ME
I am drawn to visual storytelling, and always have been imagining worlds, characters, and places. During my studies, I had the opportunity to explore several fields, but animation stood out in a particular way for me. It felt demanding, in a way that reminded me of drawing. Soon enough, I was drawn to the challenge of making something really feel alive to audiences.
Hence, I initially started as self-taught, pushing beyond my generalist education, before having the opportunity of being mentored by a professional animator, which helped significantly sharpen my eye in body mechanics.
Through team-based projects, I've worked on gameplay and cinematic animations, learning how to work communicating with teammates, understanding and getting confortable with the engine and its workflow, adapting to the constraints and technical needs of the craft.
And within these experiences, bringing life to creatures and characters imagined by others fellow artists has been particularly rewarding, and remains a strong motivation for me.

Today, I am focusing more on intention in my animations, to ensure that my work serves emotion, atmosphere, worldbuilding, and in the grand scheme of things, to be entertaining.

OUTSIDE OF WORK
Outside of animation, I spend a lot of time drawing, mainly digital painting of landscapes, but I always carry a sketchbook with me, whether at a museum, on a terrace, or in nature. ✏️
I also love imaginating worlds. A long-time fan of fantasy with Elric of Melnibonee and The Witcher, I also enjoy sci-fi universes like Rick & Morty or Foundation, lately, whether in movies, books or tv series.
In games, I love to explore worlds, and to be lost on lovely crafted universes: INSIDE and Subnautica are among my favorites, and back in the day I played a lot on Star Wars: The Old Republic. Currently I mostly play Total War: Warhammer III, Vermintide 2 and Animal Crossing !🎮

Another really big hobby of mine is miniature painting, which I’ve been doing for over 10 years now! Even though I paint less frequently nowadays, it’s still a welcome way to slow down. Being a fan since 2012, I’ve spent a lot of time diving into its lore, painting discussions and battle strategies on now long-forgotten forums! 🎨
Music is another big part of my life. I play bass and guitar, and lately I’ve been inspired by bands like King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard and Gnome. 🎸
