Hostiles Horizons
2D Mobile Game
End of Development: December 2024

Hostiles Horizons is a student project carried out at Créajeux during the start our third year. Developed in Unity, it was our very first experience with the engine. It's a 2D mobile game set in an abandoned spaceship filled with aliens to shoot with brutality and style. Produced over roughly ten working days spread across weekly sessions, our goal was to create a playable prototype of a mobile game blending typing mechanics with 2D platforming.

| DEVELOPMENT & TOOLS

| PRODUCTION

-
First experience with Unity Engine, discovering the tool and its requirements.
-
For the first time, was asked to take charge of art direction, setting the visual tone and producing concepts, assets, and illustrations.
Beyond the creative side, it really challenged me to manage a team of artists with different levels of experience, ambition, and working paces. Learning to adapt communication, maintain motivation, and align everyone toward a common vision was a difficult journey. Hostiles Horizons became a valuable first step both in learning Unity and in developing soft skills crucial for any production environment.
